This family room had a couple of design issues. It needed to be warmed up, needed some color and atmosphere. There was also an issue with one wall that had a cold air return grill right in the middle. We faux finished the adjacent foyer walls with a beautiful 5 color finish. We added lots of color to the high ceiling to bring it down into the room. Painted a coordinating tone onto the family room walls, and then designed artwork for the large wall. The commissioned artwork included a 40" x 50" plaster relief, designed and produced by artist, Sandra Bremenour and custom made iron elements, produced by artist, Ed Zmarzly.
